Bank of Ghana tells public not to repair torn cedi notes with adhesive tape
The Bank of Ghana has warned people against repairing, re-joining or altering torn and soiled cedi notes for re‑circulation after a social media video showed individuals taping damaged notes. The central bank urged customers to use commercial banks for replacements.
